Now faced with a new type of catastrophe: Covid-19, they are pulling from their crisis/disaster management experience to expand their scope and leverage of the W4W community to act. Through their Covid-19 Help the Helpers campaign, they are applying their skills and capabilities as a humanitarian aid organization through providing safe and healthy nutrition packs and hot meals, for frontline medical workers, fire departments, and police precincts.
Currently active in NY, NJ, and ID, your contributions from the sale of these tee and fleece items will go towards further servicing the needs of these communities, as well as enable W4W to expand their scope to other communities in need.
*Legendary photographer Tom Servais is well known for capturing some of the most iconic surf images over the decades, with multiple covers including SURFER, SURFERS JOURNAL and many other well known surf magazines. He has generously contributed one of his most well known photos of Cloudbreak. Perfect conditions and devoid of surfers…photos like these, fueled the love of Fiji and it’s island of Tavarua as the epitomy of wave perfection. Let’s hope we are all back in the water soon, but these times are a definite reminder of the importance coming together to help others...and to be human first.
